The printer has options to encode contact type and contact-less smart cards, proximity access cards, and mag-stripe cards.
The DTC1250e uses a cartridge-style ribbon with an integrated cleaning roller, making refills a snap. It will print on cards as thin as 10 mils (0.010″), and cards up to 40 mils. This includes smart-card and ISO-printable proximity cards measuring 30 mils. The manufacturer’s warranty period is 3-years.
Fargo HDP5000 ID Card Makers
The Fargo HDP5000 printer is included in the Fargo Professional Series line of ID card makers. These printers will produce the highest quality and most secure printed cards. High definition (“HDP”) printing yields superior images when compared to standard, direct-to-card printers. With HDP, entire card-images are applied in a single pass, providing the best output when printing on proximity access or smart cards.
